Music Background
Singing and playing all types of music. Began with folk influences from my parents where we used to sing and play guitar together. Fronted a Jazz band for a while and also sing/play as a duo with Alan. Joined Perfect Alibi in January 2011.
Favourite Floyd Album
I first discovered and loved Dark Side of the Moon when I was 19 ... the same time as I discovered The Doors and AC/DC .. then got to know The Wall and love that now too.
Now I'm getting to know so many more Floyd songs and loving them all!
Most memorable gig
Having to do a 1/2 hour acoustic set with Adam Ant ... slightly bizarre and scary!
Favourite bands / influences
Really wide and such a hard question ... Fiona Apple, Sigur Ros, Bjork, Tom Paxton, Newton Faulkner, Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, Fleetwood mac, Simon & Garfunkle, AC/DC, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, The Beatles, Chris de Burgh. Too much to write down ... I like most things with a good melody and rhythmic beat.
